This is the Duplicati template. They have the paths defined, but leave them empty for the user to fill in:
Just poking through a few other templates, Nextcloud, tautulli, radarr, sonarr, couchpotato, and resilio-sync all do the same thing. I think it’s fair to say that it’s a standard procedure!
