Expected Behavior
Loaded the beta version to MacBook M3, as my original install was 1.0 using High Sierra on mac mini. The PS folder is on a SSD, and I ran PS using beta successfully over the SSD to revalidate the content. Then began a fresh import / dedupe from folders on the SSD. circa 20,0000 images to process.
Part way through there was a power cut. Since then, I am unable get past the error message. Part way through there was a power cut. Since then, I am unable to progress past the error message. 7: Update check failed. The server sent an invalid response. Try again later.
I have restarted, and re-installed. Being new to the system, I don’t see anything of substance in the logs.
Sorry to not be more help here, I was convinced by Photostructure when I first installed it, and this time around I intend to process all files from all sources and use the ‘plus’ facilities.
First question is how to re-set the server response. Or maybe install as a server version?
Steps to Reproduce
-
I have no working system to run tests against, but best guess would be to run a resync using a USB SSD as both source and target, then pull the plug. (ouch!)
