I know I asked about this via email.

But it would be kick ass to have a first class API that is well documented.

It seems like most API docs are pretty clunky: have you seen an open-source tool that produces nice output?

I haven’t had much to do with documentation of API, but I like what these guys do: REST API Documentation Generator Tool | Hosted API Documentation Online
