I suspect you have an old version of Node–we need version 16 or later now.

Thanks to @awojtas for reporting this issue. Apologies for the delayed follow-up.

For anyone finding this thread: PhotoStructure v2026.2 now requires Node.js 22.3 or later, which includes stream/promises natively. If you see this error, upgrade your Node.js installation.
