Will this be available on v1.0.0? Im running 0.9.7 of the desktop on my Fedora machine and I dont have HEIC support and a majority of my library over the last 2 years is HEIC, thanks apple.

Yes, the new HEIC support in v1.0 will support all editions of PhotoStructure.
PhotoStructure for Node edition (on Ubuntu and macOS).
The next version (due to be released early next year) will allow for heic support in all editions:

I have about half of my 1TB library that needs HEIC support. Will be glad to help and test for bugs.

Great! I’m hoping to drop the first build next week:
I’ve finished the licensing code and am starting to fight with the payment processor APIs now.
And, random Good News tidbit: last night I figured out a way I can give licenses to all alpha and beta testers so they can bang on all the changes while I finish up the subscription flow.
I’m hoping to cut 1.0.0-alpha.1 by around Valentine’s Day at this point, assuming everything falls into place.
