META: "Latest" view not sorted by default

When I click on the “Latest” view at the top of the forum, I’m given a list of topics. They used to always been in order with the most recent activity on the top.
Sometime within the last couple of months, it stopped sorting that way. I now have to manually click the “Activity” column to get it sorted the way I expect.

Is this happening for others as well? I’m wondering if it’s a bug in the Discourse software.

I seen to remember a setting that let the default home page show latest, but wouldn’t be surprised if they changed it on a recent update. Feel free to poke around the settings.

Edit: I found and updated the theme setting, switching the order to “Latest” and the “Categories,” that seemed to do the trick.
