I set PS_SYNC_INTERVAL_HOURS to 12 hours but it seems not working since I added a bunch of new photos to a folder but they do not show up.
I just saw that this might be the problem:
Does it not try to do another sync when it is in this stale status?
The process in charge of file imports and synchronization, sync, is supposed to check every hour to see if there are any stale paths, and kick off new directory/volume scan jobs.
A couple issues were found in v1.0/v1.1 that made sync not think paths were stale. I addressed those in next v2.1 alpha build that I hope to release soon. More details are here: PhotoStructure | 2021 PhotoStructure release notes
