As described in the title, my installation of PhotoStructure on a Windows 10 PC does not scan or show videos. Is this a pro feature?
Initially, I had an issue with HEIF/HEIC photos that didn’t show up. I followed this with Cygwin and HEIF photos were ok after that (but NOT videos). Then I followed this with Scoop, but still no display of videos.
So, right now, I’m helpless about what else I could try. Any hints on what else I could try?
If you’re using v1.1, know that very recent versions of ffmpeg may not play well with that older version of PhotoStructure. In any case, though, there will be errors or warnings emitted to your logs.
Yes, I’m using version 1.1. See the attached zip file with the error logs.
I thought the quick way to get around my video problems was to start a plus trail. But now I found it is tricky to find a stable windows installable version. Where can I download the latest stable windows installer for PS? And will this version be compatible with the latest FFmpeg encoder?
Or, the other way around: how can I overwrite my current FFmpeg version with a version that is compatible with PS version 1.1?

I am in the same boat. Love the interface, but cannot find/see/play MP4 and mov and similar files. I want to be sure that they are in the library prior to deleting them elsewhere. Plus member…excited to find a solution. Thanks in advance.
Quite time-consuming to read and try all the hints in the forum. But - for the nice user interface and the sophisticated search capabilities of photosturcture I won’t stop to explore But for now, I need a coffee!
Latest news: photsturcture runs now with Docker on my Raspberry Pi 5. Everything is going very well, including playing videos!
My conclusion: Use the docker server installation and forget all other options.
Glad you got it working, @baumaeschi ! Indeed, Docker is currently the best way to run Photostructure. @mrm has been working on the next release, with the intention of getting the Windows release up to par with the Linux/Docker version.
By the way, if you are a discord user, we have a fairly active community there: PhotoStructure
