Videos not showing up on v. 1.1.0 desktop

Hi,

I’m running desktop version 1.1.0 on MacOS 14 (Sonoma), FFmpeg version 7.0.2. Videos are not showing up in the PS browser, even though when the system was syncing it was showing in the status information that it was indexing the videos. It is set up to leave my assets in place, if that makes a difference.

I’ve checked other similar queries on the forum but none seem to be quite my problem.

Unfortunately, ffmpeg command line options change between major versions, and I suspect 7.0 doesn’t play nicely with v1.1’s expectations.

I’d recommend running a beta of PhotoStructure for servers, as that has updated ffmpeg args (and a ton of new bug fixes and features).

I’ll try to get a desktop beta out as soon as I can.

Thanks for your speedy response. It looks like the server version is the way to go!

At least for the time being. The desktop edition relied on a packaging library that doesn’t work with modern macOS, and it’s taken a bit of time to rewrite that integration code, but I’ll get there.
